Nutrition Program

The students of first year B.Sc. Nursing, GRV College of Nursing, conducted a Nutrition Program on 25/01/2025 under the supervision of teachers. The objectives of the program was to identify the nutritional deficiencies, plan an appropriate menu and to create awareness on nutritional deficiency. Initially, nutritional charts were prepared and presented with nutritional values by students. A menu was planned to meet the nutritional requirements of people based on normal RDA value. The menu consisted of Sprouted Grams, Dry Fruits Balls, ABC Juice (Apple / Beetroot / Carrot), Mint Juice, Veg / Fruits Salad etc.

Program was started at 10 AM in nutrition lab, presentation of their foods was done by students with various nutritional values in a models and charts prepared by students. Students were motivated by presenting saplings as a token of appreciation.
